The Ultimate sept. 14 CA recall Election
Guide
  • Voters will be asked if they would like to remove the current Governor Gavin Newsom from office. Voters check 'YES' or 'NO'.

  • No matter if they vote 'YES' or 'NO' on the first question, voters can choose whom they would like to replace Gov. Newsom from a list of 46 candidates.

  • If Gov. Newsom is recalled, the alternative candidate with the plurality of votes will be in office for 12 months. Next November (2022) there will be a standard election for Governor.
