CAST YOUR BALLOT...
After you've registered to vote, you still have to cast your ballot. Research has shown that making a voting plan increases the likelihood that you will follow through. How will you vote? When will you vote? Answering these questions is the best thing you can do to hold yourself accountable. Use your favorite reminder tool, like a journal or note-taking app, to record your plan.

VOTE BY MAIL (ABSENTEE)
STEP ONE: FIGURE OUT YOUR STATE'S RULES!
All states have a vote-by-mail option, but the rules differ. For example, some states automatically mail every registered voter a ballot, while others require you to request a ballot.
Read up on your state's absentee voting rules.

STEP TWO: ORDER YOUR BALLOT!

Order your absentee ballot through StudentVote.org.

Need to change your mailing address? Re-register.

Ordering your ballot to Stanford?
Make sure it will be sent to the Tresidder Package Center—not to your dorm. Use this mailing address:

Don't worry about leaving your SUNet ID out of the address. You'll still be notified of your ballot's arrival.

Haven't received your ballot at the package center?
- Ask an employee inside the package center
- Email packageandmailservices@ug2.com
- Call (617) 982-2301
STEP THREE: VOTE!

Complete your ballot (and pat yourself on the back for being such an engaged citizen)!

STEP FOUR: MAIL IT BACK!

Although most states accept mail-in votes up until Election Day, put your ballot in the mail as soon as possible.
